  • RIM misses out on ".EU" domain registration "RIM.eu"

    It's not Research in Motion but a smaller company in Germany "Conrad Electronic GmbH" who is the new owner of "RIM.eu". The time difference between applications for the domain name was less then 5 minutes.

    According to the EUROid whois database, the domain registration RIM.eu is approved and accepted for Conrad Electronic GmbH. Research in Motion has until the 30th of April to raise objection against the new domain owner. Nevertheless Research in Motion is first in line for the domain registration of "blackberry.eu".
